💧 Watershed

300+ acre watershed park at the mouth of the Arroyo Seco — equestrian trails, disc golf, wide-open mountain views.

Hahamongna Watershed Park sits at the top of the Arroyo Seco where the canyon opens out of the San Gabriel Mountains. It's one of the largest open-space parks in Pasadena, with multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrians, the popular Oak Grove Disc Golf Course, sediment basins managed by LA County Flood Control, and dramatic San Gabriel mountain views. A favorite for trail-runners, dog walkers, and disc-golfers.

🌹 Why Locals Love It

You feel like you've left the city completely — wide skies, the mountains right above, and miles of arroyo trails.

What to Expect

Dirt and gravel multi-use trails, disc golf course, picnic areas, and views into Devil's Gate Reservoir and the foothills.

💡 Good to Know Before You Go

Some trails closed during sediment-removal projects — check signage. Hot and exposed in summer.

📍 Local Tip

Go at golden hour — the mountains light up and the trails empty out.

Best Time to Visit

Fall through spring; mornings in summer.
