A 6-mile climb from Gaviota Hot Springs trailhead to a 2,458-ft summit with full Pacific and Channel Island views.
Gaviota Peak is the signature climb of the western Gaviota Coast. The route passes the small Gaviota Hot Springs pool early on, then climbs steadily through chaparral to a summit overlooking the entire western coastline.
