A classic shaded creek-side climb up Skofield Park and into the front country — waterfalls, pools, and oak canopy.
Rattlesnake Canyon is the lushest of the SB front-country hikes. Starting at Skofield Park, the trail follows the creek up through dense oak and bay laurel, past small waterfalls and swimming pools, to a meadow saddle.
