Historic Riverside city park with a lake, rose gardens, palm-shaded lawns, and Olmsted-designed landscape near downtown.

Fairmount Park is the historic centerpiece of Riverside's park system — originally laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. The 220-acre park has a lake with paddleboats, rose gardens, picnic areas, sports fields, walking paths, and one of the IE's most photogenic palm-lined drives. The park is on the National Register of Historic Places.
