Heaps Peak Arboretum is a half-mile self-guided nature loop along Highway 18 between Lake Arrowhead and Running Springs. The trail winds through native conifers, oaks, and dogwoods with interpretive signs. It's a perfect quick stop on the Rim of the World drive.
