Year-round mountain access via the Mt Baldy Ski Lifts — skiing in winter, hiking and Top of the Notch dining in summer.

Mt Baldy Mountain Resort sits high above Rancho Cucamonga at the head of the Mt Baldy canyon. In winter, lifts run for skiing and snowboarding; in summer, they run as scenic chairlifts to the Top of the Notch restaurant, with access to summit hiking routes for Mt Baldy itself (10,064 ft).

🌟 Why Locals Love It

Real lifts and a real summit closer to the IE than any other ski mountain.

What to Expect

Steep terrain, alpine air, chairlift rides, hikers and skiers depending on season.

💡 Good to Know Before You Go

Chairlift hours seasonal; check conditions in winter.

📍 Local Tip

Ride the lift in summer, eat at Top of the Notch, hike a short ridge — a great half-day.

Best Time to Visit

December–March for skiing; June–October for hiking and the chairlift.
